Your data protection rights

How to ask about or exercise your rights under UK data protection law.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Making a request

Email info@wcclocal.com with the subject 'Data protection request'. Tell us which right you want to exercise and provide enough detail to locate the relevant information, such as the email used for your enquiry or a booking reference.

We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before releasing personal data. Please do not send identity documents unless we ask for them through an appropriate channel.

Rights that may apply

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing or a copy of certain information in a portable format. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You can withdraw consent for optional marketing at any time. This does not affect processing already carried out lawfully or service communications needed for your booking. Some rights are subject to exceptions, including legal record-keeping obligations.

Response times

Requests are generally answered within one month. The law permits extensions in certain circumstances, for example where a request is complex; if an extension applies, we will explain it.

Complaints

If you are concerned about how your information is handled, contact us first so we can investigate. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

Privacy details

Read our Privacy notice for the information collected, the purposes and legal bases for using it, recipients and retention criteria. This page explains rights; it is not a certification of GDPR compliance.
